After landing, on packing up glider, Pilot discovered a brake line had gone through a crack in the riser maillon plastic insert and was wedged in and quite difficult to pull out again. Pilot does not know how the crack in the plastic insert occurred.

Pilot took off with one leg loop undone. Pilot immediately felt the issue but was able to stay in the harness. Pilot flew away from the hill into open air and was able get the buckle made up. The harness has one fixed leg loop and the other is a pass through buckle.

The North Luffenham winch Tow site was active and NOTAM H7274/23 issued for tow launch activity up to 2000ft. At 14.22 helicopter G-OCFD flew directly over the tow site 50 seconds after the tow line had been active.

Paramotor wing was sent for its first service just after 2 years and 35 flying hours. The porosity measured on the top surface leading edge Dominico 30D material was much lower the expected with readings of 25, 20 and 13 seconds when measuring the porosity using a JDC Porosimeter. The Porsher EasyFly material used for the bottom surface was also measured and received excellent readings over 275 seconds.
