BHPA Members Fees

The following table lists BHPA fees that may be incurred by individual members from 1st April 2023.

Two Year Membership (introductory offer) 24 Months	3rd Party Insurance, 24 issues of Skywings Magazine, Full BHPA Membership	£280	An additional £30 Joining Fee must be paid when you join the BHPA.
Flying Member 12 Months	3rd Party Insurance, 12 issues of Skywings Magazine, Full BHPA Membership	£164 (members paying by direct debit will receive an annual discount of £7 on renewal)	An additional £30 Joining Fee must be paid when you join the BHPA. The Joining Fee does not apply to membership renewals where membership has been continuous.
Family Flying Member 12 Months	3rd Party Insurance, Full BHPA Membership	£148 (members paying by direct debit will receive an annual discount of £7 on renewal)	As Flying Member above, except Family Flying Members do not receive their own copy of Skywings magazine, and must live at the same address as the Flying Member in their family.
Flying Concessionary Member (21 and under, or 67 and over) 12 Months	3rd Party Insurance, 12 issues of Skywings Magazine, Full BHPA Membership	£144 (members paying by direct debit will receive an annual discount of £7 on renewal)	As Flying Member above.
Non Flying Member 12 Months	12 issues of Skywings Magazine, 3rd-party insurance (flying is not covered), no voting rights	£60 (members paying by direct debit will receive an annual discount of £7 on renewal)
Trial Membership 3 Months	3rd Party Insurance, 3 issues of Skywings Magazine	£95	An additional £30 Joining Fee must be paid when you join the BHPA.
Adult Day Membership 1 Day	3rd Party Insurance	£25
Under 21 Day Membership 1 Day	3rd Party Insurance	£5
Skywings Magazine Subscription (UK) 12 Months	12 issues of Skywings Magazine	£59	This is already included in some membership categories shown above.

Trainee Instructor Insurance Supplement 12 Months	3rd Party Insurance	£30	As this supplement is due on membership renewal, please contact the office for applicable fee.

Senior Coach Re-examination		£50	Re-examination.
