Pilot attempted to launch was dragged and became tangled in the lines of his friends canopy and then became airborne with friends canopy wrapped around his head. Another pilot assisted in bringing him down.

Pilkot realised wind strength had picked up considerably during flight decided to fly xc to a flatter area to land. Landed in very strong wind, was blown backward into trees.

Compound fracture right tibia and fibula.

Pilot on first aerotow foot launch flight, ran too fast on launch resulting in no line tension the glider started to fly but the pilot was unable to keep up with it, glider stalled and was pulled into the ground.

Spiral fracture left humerus with nerve damage. Nerve palsy radial.

Pilot did not fasten harness leg straps prior to launch. Held in harness by armpits, could not control the direction of the canopy accurately, this resulted in the pilot landing in a different field from the planned one.

Bruised median nerves. Reduced use of left arm for one week.
